Egyptian Socialist Party Visited the Workers' Party

Workers’ Party deepens intents for a regional integration with countries and parties

The Egyptian Socialist Party represented by Vice Secretary General Mohammed Hesham visited the Workers’ Party. Hesham met with the Chairman of the Workers’ Party, Doğu Perinçek and the party’s International Relations Responsible, Yunus Soner. Both sides have emphasized the desire to deepen relations between the parties. 

In the bilateral meeting, Hesham indicated that the Egyptian and Tunisian revolutions have dealed a big blow to Greater Middle-East Initiative of United States. He also declared "the Muslim Brotherhood is the instrument of US to manipulate the region according to his own interests".

Hesham explained that giving a part of the Sinai Peninsula to Palestinians to ensure security in Israel was part of that plan, but the 30th of June revolution canceled effectively this attempt. Hesham who claims that the game played over I.S.I.S in Iraq and Syria is the plan of US, has said that collaboration with Turkey, Egypt and other region countries is possible and necessary.

Assistant Secretary, who said that the revolt of June had a great influence in Egypt, added that the Turkish secular model is a good example for Egypt. 

Conference organized
A small conferenced was organized by the Workers’ Party to enable comrade Hesham to present his views to a broader audience. Here Hesham gave a brief history and evaluation of the Egyptian revolution.

Guest to TV show
Muhammed Hesham was also guest to a TV show aired by national TV channel Ulusal Kanal. Here Hesham criticized attempts to build a separate Kurdish entity in the north of Iraq against the will of the neighboring countries, stating that such an entity would equal to a “second Israel”, enemy to all neighbors and depending on imperialism to survive.
