We have always pointed out the fact that Tayyip Erdoğan will not last long in presidential palace. Yet, we could not possibly know that earthquakes will start so soon.
He has not even make an oath in the parliament. The presidential ceremony has not been held yet. One of the legs of his presidency chair has become broken before he sits.
First President Defied by Supreme Court
According to the constitutional law, the president is the head of the executive power and the state, which makes him represent the legislative, executive and judicial bodies all together.
Tayyip Erdoğan has conflicted with judicial body of the state even before he takes up his post. He has declared a war against one of the three state bodies. More importantly, the judiciary has accepted fight.
The jurisdiction is the ultimate institution in law which represents the republic. The fact that it says to Erdoğan not to come is a rebellion as law requires.
If the president does not recognize the law, the law does not recognize him either.
Tayyip Erdoğan is the first president who has been defied by jurisdiction. It means that president has lost the support of jurisdiction.
He has an issue with the nation state
If we are to evaluate this event in the within the context of a disagreement over the participation of the esteemed Metin Feyzioğl in the Supreme Court ceremony, we cannot understand the process.
The person preparing to sit on the presidential seat has a problem with the nation-state, let us first look at this.
He is challenging the state traditions.
He is challenging the institutions of the legal state.
He is challenging the balances between state organs.
Tayyip Erdoğan’s fight with the state organs started very early. The main reason for the Çankaya crisis is this.
One foot of the chair broken before he even sat down
The president who has yet to swear his oath has already lost one of the feet of the chair on which he will sit. He is currently sitting of a two-footed chair.
The presidential crisis in Turkey has begun even before the oath-taking ceremony.
This event is more than a presidential crisis, it is a state crisis. The state organs have stopped being organs of the same structure, and are competing with one another. The state whose peak Tayyip Erdoğan sits is already tumbling towards chaos.
The presidential residence earthquake which began in the jurisdiction will also spread to legislative and executive organs. While Turkey enters a financial crisis, it has sunk into a state crisis throughout. Within the progress of the economic crisis, we will see that the beams of the Tayyip Erdoğan sultanate will also be destroyed.
