Utku Reyhan, Deputy Chairman of the Workers’ Party (Turkey), made a statement on the recent Israeli massacre on the Palestinian people. Here is the full text of his statement:
Israel, after its air strikes against Gaza, has begun last night to occupy the Gaza territory. It is stated that 246 Palestinian were killed and 860 people were injured in these air strikes and ground operations so far.
Israel explains the reason of its attacks as “to terminate the tunnels between Egypt and Gaza, and to strike big blow to Hamas”. Israel is attacking the National Consensus Government of El Fatah and Hamas. The main objective of the aggression, on the other hand, is to revive the continuously weakening influence of the US imperialism in the region.
LAST EFFORTS OF THE IMPERIALISTS
The USA has suffered a heavy defeat by the Syrian people who have beaten the Western supported terrorists in the region under the leadership of Basher al Assad. The USA-Israel alliance that aim to divert the union which has been developing on the axis of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and started to affect Egypt, Libya and Algeria, on the basis of the independency and solidarity in the region, has tried to fragmentize Iraq and the Middle East by using Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and Barzani. And now, the imperialists and Zionists are targeting the national unity of Palestine by sending the Israeli troops to Gaza.
TAYYİP ERDOĞAN STANDS WITH ISRAEL
The sides of the struggle in the Middle East became clear. Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine are at one side and the USA, the EU, Israel, Saudi Arabia, ISIL and Barzani are at other side. All the practices of the Tayyip Erdoğan government indicate that they are in the pro-US camp.
It has been recently revealed that the jet fuel of the Israel, used against in their slaughter against our Palestinian brothers, is supplied from Turkey. We also know that the radar base in Malatya, Kürecik is providing intelligence to Israel for its assault on Gaza and is preventing air strikes against Israel. The Turkish people will not forget the appearance of Erdoğan with the medal of Zionists on his neck.
