The membership and badge ceremony of the US representation of the Patriotic Party (Turkey), was held in New Jersey on the 16th of March 2015. The ceremony was held with the participation of Mr. Yunus Soner, Deputy Chairman of the Patriotic Party and Ms. Ferda Paksüt, member of the Central Committee. In the meeting, 40 citizens joined the Party. Thus, the members of the Patriotic Party (Turkey) in the USA reached 200.
“The AKP will not see the year 2016”
The Deputy Chairman of the Patriotic Party Yunus Soner mentioned in his speech the current policy of the Patriotic Party and his visit to Mexico. Soner said that the Patriotic Party developed important relations with anti-imperialist political parties and countries fighting against the imperialism all over the world. He added that these relations will shape Turkey’s foreign policy in the future.
Soner, stated that the Patriotic Party grows not only in Turkey but in every country where Turkish citizens live. He also announced that the representation of the Patriotic Party (Turkey) in Australia will be established soon.
Soner emphasized that the AKP government will not see the year 2016 and that the Patriotic Party is going to establish a Patriotic Government.
Yunus Soner also stated that they struggle against the lie of the “Armenian Genocide” not only in Turkey but everywhere in the world. He said that the book titled “Dashnaktsutyun Has Nothing More to Do” written by Hovhannes Katchaznouni, the first Prime Minister of Armenia, has been distributed to the representatives of the Latin American countries in Mexico a few days earlier.
Ferda Paksüt, the member of the Central Committee of the Patriotic Party, said in her speech that there should not be any despair and they will remove the darkness settled over Turkey. Paksüt said that the upcoming elections will not constitute an end but a beginning for Turkey. Paksüt also said that the AKP will definitely collapse.
In the meeting several questions were asked to Yunus Soner and Ferda Paksüt about the policies of the Party and the upcoming elections. After answering all questions the badge ceremony was held.
It drew attention that among the citizens who joined the Party were people who supported different political parties in the past.
