Workers' Party's Secretary General evaluates NATO’s involvement against ISIS

The ISIS and PKK terrorism cannot be wiped out by NATO, but by the union of the regional countries!

Dr. Serhan Bolluk, Secretary General of the Workers’ Party (Turkey), evaluated US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel’s recent declarations about NATO’s involvement against ISIS, Turkey’s inclusion into the core coalition and the US position in the Middle East. Bolluk made the following declaration:

The decisions taken at the NATO Summit in Wales are against the regional countries, Turkey being in the first place.

After the Summit, US Defence Secretary Hagel visited Turkey and met the Chief of Staff, the Prime Minister and the President. As was reported, Turkey is being imposed to take an active part in the operation against ISIL in the core coalition side by side with other NATO members.

The AKP government and the President, as always, are keen to follow the same road as the US.

Threat to territorial integrity
The Chairman of the main opposition party CHP, Kılıçdaroğlu, by supporting the “Core Coalition” has showed once more that he defends the same pro-US policies as the AKP.

The US is talking about a 3-year plan to wipe put ISIL from the region. That the US, who announced that they would “liberate” Iraq in two months, predict a 3-years fight for a terror organization like the ISIL, reveals the clues for their real plans. They are using ISIL as an excuse for settling in the region. This means surrounding Russia and is a threat to the territorial integrity of primarily Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria.

Legitimizing the PKK
The most important part of the US plan is to legitimize PKK and the Syrian branch of the PKK, the YPG, and make them the dominant power in the region. Thusly, an AKP-PKK coalition is going to be imposed and Turkey will be forced against the regional countries. PKK and ISIL are both terror organizations used by the US. The US and the NATO members are in a plot to implement the plan of the puppet Kurdistan by strengthening PKK.

This plan will never be successful. The US got severe blows in the region. They were defeated in Syria. Iran did not collapse. Turkey could not be forced against Syria and Iraq despite all kinds of plots of the Co-Presidency of the project of the Greater Middle East. The plan to use the Turkish Armed Forces as a reaction force in this manner has failed, it will fail in the future as well.

The best thing the US could do now is to retreat from the region and to stop intervening in the internal affairs of other countries.

As the Workers’ Party (Turkey), we promise to wipe out the PKK and ISIL by uniting with the central governments of Iran, Iraq and Syria. We are calling in particular the government and the Chairman of CHP not to become a tool of the US in its plans regarding the region and to struggle against the ISIL and PKK by uniting with the regional countries.
